Provide users with the following options:
Exclude Credit Card Limits from Total Account Balance
Allow users to exclude their Credit Card Limit from the Total Accounts Balance - the amount displayed on the left side of the screen significantly differs from the balance shown in the dashboard.
A Credit Card Limit is not technically the user’s money. It represents the maximum amount they are allowed to borrow and should therefore not be presented as money they “own” or have available. Including the full credit limit in the total balance can give users a misleading view of their actual financial position.
Include Credit Card Expenses in Transaction History
Allow users to include Credit Card expenses and repayments in their regular transaction history and latest transactions list, even when the Credit Card is excluded from the Total Accounts Balance.
Currently, excluding a Credit Card in the settings appears to remove it from all statistics and transaction views. These should ideally be separate settings:
--Exclude the Credit Card Limit from the Total Accounts Balance
--Continue displaying Credit Card transactions and expenses in transaction history and statistics
This would allow users to exclude available credit from their actual balance while still maintaining a complete record of their spending.
