We already have a good dashboard but I think it could be enhanced with more widgets and improved design.
Since the dashboard already supports customizable widgets, users could choose which widgets they want to display and arrange them according to their needs.
I have some ideas for new widgets as well as some future widgets that could be added once the corresponding functionality becomes available such as FIRE calculations, life milestones and financial goals.
I’ve also attached a sample dashboard created with the help of AI using an MCP connection which is another great feature of the app. I’ve posted comments about most of these widgets in different posts but I think it’s time to consolidate all the ideas in one place.
Suggested Widgets
Net Worth – Current net worth with 6 / 12 month projections.
Net Worth Distribution – Distribution across assets and liabilities.
Net Worth by Currency – Net worth distribution by currency.
Financial Goals – Goals with target amounts, target dates and progress tracking. (TBD)
FIRE Progress – FIRE progress and estimated target date. (TBD)
Mortgage & LTV – Current mortgage balance and Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio.
Budget – Budget overview based on tags or categories.
Portfolio – Portfolio distribution and growth.
Top Gainers & Losers – Top-performing and worst-performing investment funds across different time periods.
Life Milestones – A timeline showing important financial and life milestones. (TBD)
Financial Health Score – An overall financial score based on factors such as age, region, income, expenses, savings, investments, debt, and other available financial data. The score could also be benchmarked against relevant regional or age group data to give users a better understanding of their overall financial health.
Once again, kudos to the app and its developers for already providing so many great functionalities. It’s really hard to find these many useful features together in a single app. 👏
