FIRE Calculator

Feature Request

A built-in FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) calculator would be a great addition to MoneyMatter. It could estimate when a user might reach financial independence based on their current investments, savings rate, annual expenses and expected investment returns. This would make MoneyMatter useful not only for tracking finances but also for planning long-term financial goals.

    A custom dashboard widget showing the number of years remaining and the percentage of milestones achieved would be a nice addition.

      But I do understand that FIRE also provides a clear manageable “goal” and the estimated ETA based on the information about desired withdrawal rate. So at some point it will be added, but will be deprioretized a bit :)

        When adding FIRE planning functionality, please consider supporting different FIRE types such as Regular FIRE, Barista FIRE, and Coast FIRE. This would make MoneyMatter a more complete financial management tool and add significant value for users planning their long term financial goals.
