I would love the iOS app to connect to my self hosted instance. Would this also work on iPadOS?

About the self-hosted instance – it’s doable I guess, and I’d love to add and have it, but not in the first iteration. And I cannot promise I’ll keep it free to use tho – still need to evaluate the costs of publishing. A new plan might be introduced, a cheaper one ofc, might even be a one-time, to access the iOS app with own self-hosting instance. But not in v1 anyway. Same about iPadOS – not in the first iteration. For iPadOS I’d rather ask you to create a separate ticket for users to vote, so I can prioritize it based on the demand

Any Plans for Android App ?

    Eagerly awaiting for the same.

I love the web app, hence looking forward to have immich like mobile app which store data offline when not connect and sync it later when online.

Also request to add multiple end point url just like immich, so that incase connected to home network via tailscale or other VPN apps, it can auto connect to alternative urls if primary is offline.

For separate requests it’s better to create separate tickets, so others can vote for it and I’ll see the real demand better :)

Regarding the Android – I don’t have the device, and overall I don’t expect I’ll have enough capacity and availability to support 3 different platforms, so I think it will ever land either if someone else will implement it or the app will be monetized enough that I can hire someone to do it. Yet you can still create a feature request for Android and we can at least see the votes to understand the demand.

Hey! Sorry but unfortunately I won't have time to review and validate all the external work of this level. Users' data security is a priority, and without proper validation it's just not possible to trust the data to an external client.
