It would be great to add more detailed fields to transactions, similar to how this is handled in Firefly III, in addition to the existing general notes field.
For example:
Attachments — Allow users to attach documents such as train tickets, boarding passes, invoices, receipts, or other relevant files to a transaction.
GPS location — Store the location where a transaction took place. This could be especially useful when shopping at different branches of the same grocery or retail chain.
External URL — Add a link to an external page related to the transaction, such as an e-shop order page, booking confirmation, or marketplace listing.
External references — Allow users to store an external order number, invoice number, booking reference, or another identifier associated with the transaction.
These fields would make transactions much more useful as a complete record of a purchase, while keeping the existing general notes field for free-form information.
