Transaction calculator

It would be interesting to have a built-in calculator for transactions. For example, suppose I have several consecutive restaurant transactions—$14, $19.30, and $3.50. Instead of creating three separate transactions or adding the numbers up in my head, it would be convenient to simply type something like "14+19.3+3.5" into the amount field and have the total calculated automatically.
