AI categorization only happens after bank sync or data imports, but some users are using free-tier AI models that can have outages and own rate-limits. There’s no way to re-init the AI categorization manually tho, so all the transactions now should be categorized manually – it’s a big problem. Same applied to manual transactions overall.
AI categorization is only being triggered to transactions with category “Other” (uncategorized transactions), so rate-limiting and unfair usage is not a problem here. Yet, it should still be strictly limited from abuse for users who use non-own models. Users with own AI API keys, or Custom Endpoints should have no limits at all.
