Add a Trash for deleted transactions with:
Restore
Delete permanently
Automatic purge after ~30 days
Accidentally deleting a transaction can be difficult to recover from. Re-entering it manually creates a new record and may lose important relationships such as splits, refund pairing, and budget membership.
This is especially useful during reconciliation, where a deleted transaction may only be noticed later when the account no longer matches the bank statement.
Restoring from Trash should recover the original transaction and its relationships, not create a new one.
